Welcome!
 On
behalf of the Greater Homestead/Florida City Chamber of
Commerce, I would like to welcome you to your little
piece of heaven right here on earth. Nestled between the
Atlantic Ocean’s Biscayne Bay and the Everglades
National Park, just before entering the Florida Keys, we
saved the best ‘til the last stop on the mainland of the
Eastern United States. Our motto is, “We’ve Got the Sun
and a Whole Lot More!”.
We
are a unique place, offering residents a vast selection
of sites to enjoy, from sub-tropical fruit groves, to a
world class race track, to antique shops, street
festivals and parades along historic Main Street. You
can sip a tropical drink while you browse for exotic
orchids, or you might want to venture into a mysterious
Everglades hammock and spot a few of our famous
alligators in their natural habitat. We’re blessed with
both fresh water and salt water recreation.
We’ve
put together the enclosed pages to help you find the
people and places you will need as you and your family
adjust to your new home. I hope our small town warmth
will permeate your everyday life, as you settle in to
